Happy Holidays

Monday, April 13th, 2009

During the past week, many of us have celebrated Easter and Passover, so here at All Soccer Training we all hope you had a great holiday, and maybe a few days off of work and school. But a new week has started, and as we all know work never ends, so back to work, and school too if your lucky enough.

Soccer stars!!
Even though it was your break, we hope you have kept up on all your soccer stuff. Remember, een though you want a break and you may think of taking a day off, every day you don’t work out is a day your opponent is working to beat you next time. So take this motivation, and get out to the field and start practicing. Practice those moves (scissor, step over, pull back), practice your figure eights, get a friend and just kick the ball around. Anything is better than nothing.

Parents!!
Remember, your child needs you! You may already know this, but what you don’t know is that by letting your child sit on the couch and watch spongebob or play the Nintendo Wii instead of play soccer, you may be hurting his/her chances to becoming that star player on the field. If you insist to letting your child have a day to watch tv, at least turn on some MLS or a European game. Fox Soccer Channel is a personal favorite.

The season has already started. and many are out there practicing. As I drive by the soccer fields, I can always see at least 1 person playing, if not a team practice. What about you? Are you practicing? Do you want to be the star on the field?

New Online Look

Wednesday, April 8th, 2009

Hello Soccer Super Stars and Super Parents!

As you may already have noticed, All Soccer Training is beginning to take on a very slightly new look. We have a blog now and a poll, with many more to come, and we encourage everyone to participate as much as possible. What you may not notice is the behind the scenes work for the All Soccer Training Website.

As you read this and as I write this, our webmaster is currently working on trying to create a brand new look for Allsoccertraining.com! He asked me though, to ask you what you thought about the site, so here I am. We want to know how the website has treated you in the past years of its existence. Has it made your life easier when you were looking for more information? or harder? Is it easy to navigate throughout the site? or would you like to see a new navigation? We want to know everything. If something was bothering you about the site or you have an idea about what can be done to make it better we want any and all comments!

So where can you comment, well on this blog of course. You can just click on the title of this article and it will bring you to a new page with this same article on it, scroll down and comment in the box on the bottom. You can also go Here and fill out a very simple survey. It is as easy as filling out a text box with your ideas. Or lastly, you can just email us. Email us at webmaster@allsoccertraining.com

We don’t want to start any of this project without your help as you are as much of this organization as we are, so please help us to help make your experience at allsoccertraining.com as easy and fun as possible.

Thanks for all your help and all your comments!
All Soccer Training Staff

P.S. we have a lot of new development we are working on so no matter what happens we think you will be pleased with our soon to be new look.

And Finally, We just launched our first poll. Again, our polls will be anything from just wanting to know your opinion about something, to being used as “practice” trivia questions for camps, to letting you decide how certain parts of our camp is run (giveaways, etc.).
